If you are driving to our company from the Long Island Expressway (495), you will no longer be able to reach our company via Borden Avenue. After you pass Van Dam Street please look out for detour signs on streets turning right. Please read the notice below from the NYC Department of Transportation.

New York City Department of Transportation will close the Borden Avenue Bridge through June 2009. The bridge closure will require detour routes for all vehicles.
TO MANHATTAN (WESTBOUND):
TRUCKS over 12′ – 10′: Use the Borden Avenue Detour turning right on 30th Place and left on Hunters Point Avenue (49th Avenue). Make left on 27th Street, right on 51st Avenue and left on 25th Street to return to Borden Avenue.
ALL OTHER VEHICLES: Use the Borden Avenue Detour turning right on 30th Place and left on Hunter Point Avenue (49th Avenue). Make left on 25th Street to return to Borden Avenue.
TO QUEENS (EASTBOUND):
ALL VEHICLES: Use the Borden Avenue Detour turning left on 25th Street, right on 51st Avenue and left on 27th Street and continue to 49th Avenue (Hunters Point Avenue). Make right on 49th Avenue (Hunters Point Avenue) and right on 30th Street to return to Borden Avenue.
NOTE:
Detour signs will be posted along the detour route.
